PLACES TO VISIT IN VIETNAM – CAT BA ISLAND

Cat Ba Island is an amazing place to visit in Vietnam. Cat Ba Island is a complex of 367 islands at the South of Ha Long Bay. Cat Ba Island is in Hai Phong Province and Cat Ba Island is about 150 kilometers from Hanoi. To get to Cat Ba Island, travelers need to take a ferry either from Hai Phong city or Tuan Chau Island in Ha Long City in Vietnam.

Cat Ba Island has wonderful nature and breathtaking landscapes. The island of Cat Ba is about 70 meters high with many Limestone Mountains and caves. There are two ways to get to Cat Ba Island. Travelers need to get to Hai Phong City which is about 110 kilometers from Hanoi then take the ferry to Cat Ba Island from Ben Binh Ferry quay. The ferry leaves Ben Binh in Hai Phong City to Cat Ba Island from morning till afternoon. The other way to get to island of Cat Ba is get to Tuan Chau Island in Ha Long City then takes the ferry to islands of Cat Ba from Tuan Chau.
Cat Ba Island is a great place to visit in Vietnam for both local and foreign travelers coming to Vietnam. There are three wonderful beaches on the islands of Cat Ba which called Cat Co Beach 1, 2 and 3. A link way joins these beaches together.
